Sobald man an diesem Tag über eine Bananenschale „stolpert“, befindet man sich schon inmitten Roland Maurmairs „Gefahrenquellen“. Roland Maurmair interveniert aus dem Hintergrund und installiert mobilitätseinschränkende Hindernisse als mögliche „Gefahrenquellen“ im öffentlichen Raum von Innsbruck. Einerseits werden temporäre Felder von Bananenschalen auf Gehwegen errichtet, ebenso wie eine überdimensionale Bananenschale in einer Baustellensituation auf einer häufig befahrenen Hauptstrasse.

Stumble over a banana skin on this particular day, and you know you are right in the middle of Roland Maurmair’s “sources of danger”. Roland Maurmair intervenes from the background, installing obstacles that limit one’s mobility as possible “sources of danger” in the public space of Innsbruck. On the one hand, temporary areas of banana skins are laid out on the pavements; meanwhile, an oversized banana skin is placed on a busy main road as if part of the road works.
