So wie einst der liebe Gott als Schöpfer der Welt angeblich den ersten Menschen aus Staub und Lehm formte, bediente sich auch Roland Maurmair für seine aktuelle Ausstellung des gleichen Materials zur Schaffung seiner neuesten Werke. Von Graphiken, Kleinplastiken bis Skulpturen reicht das präsentierte Spektrum; Holz, natürlich Lehm und mitunter auch tierische Bestandteile sind das Ausgangsmaterial seiner Kreationen, die ab 24.01. in der Galerie der Freischaffenden zu sehen sind.

 

Clay as it is

Once upon a time God as the world’s creator formed the first human being of dust and clay, in the same way Roland Maurmair used the same materials to produce his latest works of art for his ongoing exhibition. There is the whole range of graphic arts, small plastics, sculptures; the source material being wood, clay and now and then some animal-parts, these creations are displayed from 24th Jannuary onwards in the Gallery of the “Freischaffenden”.
