vor lauter Wald ist Roland Maurmairs poetischer Auftakt zu seinem aktuell laufenden Projekt Bound by Nature. Der Wald bietet Schutz, er ist Heimat vieler Lebewesen, er bietet Erholung und ist Energieressource. In den Lebenswelten des Waldes herrscht das Recht des Stärkeren und dennoch sieht Maurmair im Wald eine wärmende, weiche, Ruhe und Sicherheit spendende Weiblichkeit. Die Installationen, Graphiken und intermedialen Arbeiten des Künstlers eröffnen einen facettenreichen, sensiblen Kosmos ungeahnter Sinnlichkeit.

For abundance of the woods is Roland Maurmair’s poetical opening of his latest project “Bound by Nature”. The wood offers protection, is home to many creatures, serves as place of recreation and is a source of energy. In the environment of the woods the law of the jungle is in place, yet for Roland Maurmair it is a place of a warming, soft feminity donating quietness and security. The installations, graphics and intermedial works of the artist open a multifarious, sensitive cosmos of unimagined sensuality.
